MaintenanceRegularly grease your chain (do not wait until it makes a noise => this means that it is dry, and susceptible to rust). Regularly check the tyre pressure (checking before every ride is recommended) and check the condition of your brake lines once a year + the tightness of all nuts and screws.
Storage intructionsDo not expose to salty air (balconies) for prolonged periods.

Accessories : 2 pegs included.
Drivetrain/pedals : One-piece chainset. 165mm crank. Solid steel 39-tooth chainring. 16-tooth freewheel. KMC chain. Composite pedals with steel axle. We have chosen an extremely short drivetrain for fast accelerations. The composite resin pedals are as strong as aluminium pedals, but will be much kinder on your shins.
Wheels : Single wall 36-spoke rims. 20 x 1.95 street tyres. The high quality rims have machined sidewalls for enhanced braking performance. The front and rear tyres have the same tread, ideal for use mainly on tarmac.
Saddle/seatpost : BMX dirt saddle.
Frame/fork : Junior frame geometry with 19" top tube. Hi Ten steel. Reinforced head tube. 6mm frame drop out. 5mm fork end. Frame geometry is perfectly suited to children from the age of 7 years so they can easily perform wheelies, tricks and their first jumps. The parts of the frame which are subject to a lot of stress have been reinforced (steering, bottom bracket, frame drop out and fork end) to ensure maximum shock resistance.
Handlebars/stem/headset : Reinforced Hi Ten steel 620mm handlebars. Aluminium Aheadset stem. 130mm grooved grips with reinforced end caps. Many components have been designed for shock resistance: e.g. the handlebars are made of Hi Ten steel and the stem is in aluminium. The grips are extremely comfortable because of their grooves.
Brakes : Aluminium 3-finger Tektro levers. Aluminium Tektro V-brakes. We have chosen V-brake calipers to ensure smooth, powerful braking whatever the conditions. The levers and calipers are made of aluminium so that all the force applied with your hands is transferred to the brakes, which is not the case with plastic resins.
